Edit: I totally just noticed a complete WTF!? anatomy problem in this pic, oh gawd how did I miss that? ; ; not pointing it out, will fix it later....

I am very much so still on my canine creature kick.

So I was laying in bed one night, with my cat on my chest as usual, waiting to fall asleep... when the vision for this sharp black and red dog-like creature popped into my head. I was really surprised at how vivid the idea was too, so I knew I just had to draw it. Later on, more ideas came and eventually, this guy popped out!

I wanted to try out a new method for rendering fur too, turned out pretty nice I think :)

Whoa...

Maaaaan, that design is AMAZING.

It flows beautifully, and I especially love the shape of the mane.

The smoking horns was also a cool idea.. >w<

Kickass! I love the vibrancy of that red, and the weird proportions of the head to the chest/mane. The shading along the body is especiall eye catching, with that line of fur that's in the light, running through the darkest shadow on the body there. I also noticed the red in the shadows, it brings the whole thing together very nicely and gives the feel that there's skin/flesh underneath the white fur. Great job!

Pretty wicked! Love the fur texture going on around the neck, and those gaping jaws. It looks awesome!

That's a really good idea. The burning ears and claws is really original as well as the overall shape and build of the character. Very original and very cool looking character!

Oh my goddd this is hot. I love the fur style! Really interesting BG for being a simpler one, too. I like it :}.
